Dear ,
One in four Australia babies is terminated. 365Life is a FamilyVoice initiative to address that genocide.
365Life has a three-fold purpose, to save babies lives by helping would-be-parents decide to keep their child, offer practical help through existing organisations, and change culture so that future generations can change the law.
We’ve grown by 30 per cent over the past year, with 441 active volunteers now placing cards. Each card features a Pro-Life message to raise awareness about the value of the unborn and a link to connect struggling mothers to pregnancy support centres.
We hope to grow to 2,740 volunteers, placing 1,000,000 cards. When we reach our goal, an Australian will be reading a pro-life message every 4 seconds! Every card can save a life.
Father Tony Kerin, Episcopal Vicar for Life, Marriage & Family, Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne provided a written endorsement. Since then, we’ve reached out to priests and parishes, adding 16 Catholic churches to our distribution list.
Young people from around the country met online to discuss life issues through a new concept, “Brave.” The FamilyVoice web page has been upgraded to facilitate recruitment, with 30-40 new volunteers signing up recently! We can now expand more easily through social media or emails.
Feedback has poured in from around the country. John from Tasmania (who places our cards) took a work trip to Cairns. He went to sit on a bench in the shade of Cairns waterfront and found a 365Life card! We are everywhere!
Peter Stevens with Archbishop Porteous in Tasmania
We recently launched in Tasmania over four days of meetings with Christian leaders. A highlight was lunch with Archbishop Julian Porteous, a legend in Australian Christian activism. Three of his staff signed up! And we have a new card – “from 3 weeks, your baby’s heart is beating.”
You can help us by signing up to hand out cards with us – it’s free, easy, and saves babies’ lives. Or you can donate. Just visit our website.
Thank you, and may Jesus always be your strength,
For family, faith and freedom,
Peter Stevens
