FamilyVoice Australia (NSW) is appalled by the State Government’s ‘Play Safe’ website which is nothing short of ‘child indoctrination’ under the misnomer ‘sexual health’ and falsely promoted as a “one-stop shop for young people wanting to know about safe sex”.
“NSW Health has lost its moral compass in creating the ‘Play Safe’ website which is at best ‘Unsafe’ as ‘sex’ is not a game. Any government bureaucracy promoting sex as ‘play’ needs to re-calibrate its moral compass,” said Greg Bondar, NSW State Director at FamilyVoice Australia.
If government is serious about violence against women, then this website needs to be taken down immediately as the ‘Play Safe’ website is inappropriate and does nothing more than promoting sex which has long term consequences in the workplace as was the case with the Brittany Higgins incident.
The task of moral parenting and grandparenting has been made that much harder given that the ‘Play Safe’ website is not educational, it is promoting a ‘carte blanche’ approach to sex and, like the controversial ‘Safe Schools’ program, is a wolf in sheep's clothing when you have a public forum easily accessible by paedophiles.
