Greg Bondar - NSW Director
Greg Bondar, MBA (UNE), BEc (USYD), serves as the NSW State Director of FamilyVoice Australia. He has been working as a Senior Executive within the Not-for-Profit, Government, and the Corporate sector for over 30 years. Greg was formerly the Federal and NSW State Director for the Christian Democratic Party of Australia (Fred Nile Group) where he oversaw the 2016 federal elections and various by-elections. He was also a Senior Adviser to the Minister for Transport and Regional Development in the first term of the Howard Government. Greg started his career in banking and then moved to become a secondary school teacher in the St George area of Sydney and was CEO in such industry sectors as property, health, engineering, tourism, mining, and former Board Member of St George Community Transport, St George Community Housing and Bendigo Community Bank Bexley. Greg was also CEO of Tharawal Local Aboriginal Land Council in Picton
Greg worships at Blakehurst Anglican Church (St Martins) in the southern suburbs of Sydney where he currently heads up the Men’s Ministry. He is also a Lay Preacher and has been a Parish Council member and a representative on the Sydney Anglican Diocese Synod. He is also involved in Million Christian Men Ministries, which focusses on resources for Christian Men. Greg is an Accredited Chaplain with Sports Chaplaincy Australia and completed numerous courses at Moore Theological College. He holds an MBA (Master of Business Administration) from the University of New England Armidale.
The issues currently before Greg in NSW revolve around Religious Freedom, SRE (Special Religious Education) in Schools, Freedom of Speech, Euthanasia, Abortion and the relationship between Church and State. Greg works closely with Churches and Christian organisations and is a Speaker at various events and Churches. Greg is married to his long time wife Lynne of 40 years and has three adult children.
