Reimagining a prolife Australia: Why we have lost and how we can win
with Dr Joanna Howe

Dr Joanna Howe is a Professor in Law at the University of Adelaide. She holds a Doctorate of Philosophy in Law from the University of Oxford where she studied as a Rhodes Scholar. In 2022 Joanna co-founded Enid Lyons List, a new prolife organisation aimed at empowering pro-life women into the public square. Joanna has since launched social media accounts (@drjoannahowe) on Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook and Youtube to inform and inspire a new prolife generation in Australia. In her academic role, she is a leading expert on the legal regulation of temporary labour migration and was appointed in 2021 by the Minister for Immigration to the Ministerial Advisory Council on Skilled Migration. She is the author and co-editor of three books and her work is internationally recognised. Joanna is the recipient of the SA InDaily 40 under 40 Award and the University of Adelaide's Women's Research Excellence Award. Joanna lives in Adelaide with her family and is the mother of five children.
