Girls deserve a fair go on the sports field — but that’s being undermined by allowing biological males to compete in female-only events.
A recent controversy at a Catholic school in South Australia saw a 13-year-old gender-confused boy dominate the girls’ athletics competition, breaking multiple school records. Parents raised the alarm, saying it's simply not fair to allow biological boys to compete against girls — and they’re right.
But where are our leaders?
We are calling on Opposition Leader Sussan Ley and the Coalition to take a stand and protect the integrity of women’s sport.
Participation in school sport should encourage confidence, teamwork, and fairness — not disadvantage young women for the sake of political correctness.
Sussan Ley has the opportunity to champion Australian girls by calling for clear guidelines that maintain single-sex sport based on biology, not self-identification.
Let’s make sure she hears from thousands of Australians who believe in fairness, safety, and common sense.
