The horrific Abortion Reform Bill 2023, which stops the Coroner from investigating at least 27 babies born alive and left to die, will become law on 27 March 2024. This means we have only a short window to tell the Coroner to protect precious WA babies and uncover mistreatment of WA children.

It is unacceptable that the WA Coroner has failed in their obligation to investigate, partly due to appalling pressure from the Labor government that it was about to amend the law to hide what happened to the 27 unnatural deaths of babies left to die after a failed abortion.

Western Australian health practitioners and our Coroner must uphold Australia’s international obligations to provide care for babies.

Please send a message to the WA Coroner before 27 March to demand an immediate investigation.
