Australia's Governor-General must relinquish her patronage of Equality Australia, which is a political advocacy organisation campaigning for medical trans-gender surgeries for children. Equality Australia holds a radical trans-gender ideology. 

Our Governor-General should represent ALL Australians, being a patron of this radical organisation brings into question the impartiality of our system. 

This is not a minor protocol issue. The Governor-General is the representative of the Crown in Australia. Her office is supposed to stand above political battles a symbol of constitutional continuity that all Australians can trust regardless of their views. When that office actively champions a political lobby, something has gone badly wrong.

Governor-General Mostyn did not simply accept an honorary title. 

She said she was "honoured" to serve, 

pledged to "amplify" Equality Australia's mission, 

and spoke of celebrating its agenda. 

That is political activism and it is a serious breach of the standard Australians should expect from the office of the Governor-General.

FamilyVoice Australia is calling on Governor-General to set down as patron of Equality Australia. It must be made clear that the Governor-General's office is to remain strictly impartial on contested political matters. Silence is complicity.
