The Labor Government in Victoria, wants to grant special protections to their union mates. The Labor Government is seeking to curb competition and restrict Red Union from operating as a representative of workers in Victoria. We need to ensure that we don’t allow the Labor Party, to undermine our rights to freedom of association. Past Australians have fought hard for our right to freedom of association and being able to choose their representation at worksites.

The main target of this legislation, as stated by the Labor Party themselves, is the Red Union group. The Red Union is intentionally an alternative to the Labor aligned unions that have dominated workplaces, providing a different voice, and actually standing up for their members.

Red Union has stood against indoctrination in schools. They also have stood for a pro-Australia position and have encouraged for greater protections for workers that they be able to say and express personally held values. The attack on Red Union is a pandora’s box, which can lead to the banning of other organisations, including community groups, churches, charities; any group that the government finds intolerable, they’ll find an excuse to ban if they have enough support.

This is why we need you. The bill has progressed to the Upper House, and we need you to email your local MP and tell them to vote against this bill.

NOTE: This campaign is open to Victorian residents only.
